Club Stuff...
Passed on from Tony Jenkins - I have been approached by a local with scoots for sale they are rather unusual and not really my cup of tea The first is a 1970 Lambretta "Cometa" 75 cc its in ok condition and runs fine but is missing original handle bars. The other one is 1955 Dkw "Hobby" 75cc it is a large wheel scooter (bit like a "Maico") it is 100% complete with spare engine and all badges and trim its been stripped down for restoration,( just needs painting) He is asking $1000 each but is pretty willing to negotiate. * Wednesday 4th April, Club Meeting -
This meeting we will discuss club stuff at the destination of the ride out. This is so we
can hear each other and concentrate on at least a few club things. Will have a ride out to
Fox Studios and find a quiet spot in there. The usual routine, meet at the Duke at 7:30PM,
leave soon after and then back later.
Agenda: T-Shirts, Next Ride, Easter Run (Who's going), Other stuff
* Casual Run Somewhere - Last months ride didn't eventuate. Everyone seems to be busy and it's hard to get some motivation happening. An idea may be to organise a ride to line up with the Easter Run e.g. go the Old Pacific Highway with the people that are going. Something to discuss at the meeting.
* Another Easter Run in Adelaide!!! - From Trev - G'day all. We are having a run at Easter to which you're all invited. Apologies for the late notice. See the attached flyer for an overview of what we've got planned. We intend to have the web site up and running early next week at www.geocities.com/scooter_run. For further details email me at scooter_run@yahoo.com or give Nick a call. It is shaping up to be a great weekend, so do your best to attend. I have a fairly limited contact list, so if I've overlooked anyone please forward this to them and/or e-mail me their details. (Anyone know people in Perth?)
